Vermont’s Dual Enrollment program offers Vermont senior school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn up to six college credits at CCV. This means your credits assist you to finish senior school and start college, all during the same time!
Consult with your senior high school guidance counselor about applying your college credits toward your school credit that is high requirement. Students beneath the chronilogical age of 16 need special permission to enroll at CCV. speak to your local CCV academic center for information.

- Submit an application for a Vermont dual enrollment voucher.
- Schedule a New Student Appointment with an advisor that is academic discuss your aims and specific steps for enrolling. Contact your preferred CCV center that is academic schedule this meeting.
- Complete your skills assessment. This assessment is employed to help you select the classes best suited to your academic skills and it is offered, by appointment, after all locations that are CCV. Official SAT or ACT scores which are lower than three years old may be submitted for review instead.

Introduction to College & Careers
CCV offers a totally free, non-credit Introduction to College & Careers (ICC) course for senior high school students each semester. ICC prepares you for college by assisting you set goals, problem-solve, manage stress and time, improve communication skills, take better notes, reduce test anxiety, and plan financially. To enroll in this class as an innovative new CCV student, apply online and select a specific course section that is ICC. The abilities assessment is not needed, as it will be completed through the class.

Fast Forward Program for Technical Center Students
The Fast Forward program helps students in technical center programs earn college credit while they will always be in senior school and prepares them to sign up in college education programs. Students earn credit toward their technical center program and college credit in the time that is same. The courses are taught in the tech center, and students must meet enrollment requirements for specific courses.
The credits earned within these courses are accepted by CCV toward degree requirements in program areas like Allied Health, Business, Early Childhood Education, graphical design, and i . t.
In order to become a quick Forward Student:
- Make an application for admission.
- If you have not already completed the relevant skills assessment, speak to your tech center counselor to go on it as quickly as possible.
- Speak to your tech center counselor to sign up for a Fast Forward course.

You to spend your entire senior year at CCV earning college credits, finishing your high school diploma, and getting a jump on your college degree, tuition free if you are a rising Vermont high school senior, CCV’s Early College program allows! (Students are responsible for all textbook costs and applicable fees.) Students in the program enroll full-time at some of CCV’s 12 centers that are academic.
Here’s how to connect with the Early College program:
- For those who have never attended CCV, apply for admission first. There is no need to complete this step if you are a present CCV enrollment student that is dual. Unsure? Contact Kim Barbour (kim.barbour@ccv.edu, 802-888-1383).
- Complete CCV’s free Accuplacer assessment at your CCV location that is nearest.
- Gather and send the application that is following to Kim Barbour, Admissions Specialist, CCV-Morrisville, 197 Harrel Street, Suite 2, Morrisville, VT 05661 by the following deadlines: Priority – June 1; Final – August 1
- the first College Application Packet,
- the Early College Assurance Form (incorporated into your application packet) signed by the school that is high principal
- a letter of reference from a school counselor or teacher regarding your readiness for full-time college coursework,
- unopened official copies of all of the school that is high, and
- an essay utilizing the following prompt: Entering the Early College program at CCV involves withdrawing from your own school that is high and a full-time schedule of college courses. In an essay of no more than two pages, explain the way you know you will be ready for this challenge and exactly how you intend to achieve success if accepted to the program.
Immediately after your completed application is received, you shall be contacted regarding your status during the early College program. If accepted, you’ll then work with your school counselor and CCV advisor to enroll full-time in college courses.
